WELCOME TO DURHAM

On behalf of the Durham County Ladies Golf Association, it is my pleasure and privilege to welcome the Officials, Teams and all supporters of the England Golf Northern Region to this County Match Week.

We are very fortunate to have such an excellent course for our competition this week and sincere thanks go to the Committee of Eaglescliffe for hosting us. There are various excellent vantage points on the course for spectators to be able to see a number of greens, don’t be fooled into believing that any of them are flat, there are some subtle slopes for the players to contend with, along with the more obvious ones.

Our thanks to the many sponsors, who have chosen to remain anonymous, this has made the running of the competition so much easier.

We look forward to renewing old friendships and making new ones during the course of this County Match Week.

Car Parking

The golf club has a large car park which should be sufficient to accommodate spectators. Please do not park in the areas reserved for teams and officials.

Refreshments

Food and drinks for spectators will be available in the clubhouse from 08:00 until 17:00.
