Northern Counties Junior Jamboree - Information for Players

Arrival and Registration

Registration will be from 10.30 to 11.30am in the Wellington Suite. Please follow the signs. Girls should sign in with their handicap certificates and should bring their completed medical forms. CJO should check when the desk is ready to receive their team and then take them in together. Play will commence at 1pm on Monday and 9.30 on Tuesday.

CJO Meeting

This will take place in the Wellington Suite at approximately 2.30 on Monday 26th July.

Photographs

Official team photographs will be taken before lunch on Monday on the putting green. These will be available for purchase on Tuesday. You will be notified about the cost closer to the time. We will issue order forms on Monday and payment will be required in cash. Photographs will be issued at the awards ceremony.

Monday 26th July - Stableford

Players tee off from 13:00 in groups of three. A walker will accompany each group.

First Aid

The club has ample first aid equipment. The trained first aiders who will be available on the day are:

  • Chris Mounter
  • Andrew Betts
  • Lynsey Liddle

Catering

Lunch and supper on Monday and lunch on Tuesday will be provided at the golf club. Each County will have their own table which can accommodate a maximum of 12 people. Cost of food and menu choices will be provided nearer to the time. Breakfast will be available at the club on Tuesday if pre-ordered. The clubhouse and bar will be open from 7.45 on Tuesday. Any additional food and drinks should be ordered at the bar and paid for upon purchase.
The bar and Dukes Restaurant will be open for spectators.

Practice Facilities

There is a driving range and chipping area adjacent to the 18th green. Tokens for balls can be purchase in the pro shop at a cost of £1.50 for 25 balls. There is a putting green adjacent to the clubhouse.

Car Parking

There is ample parking for players/visitors. There will be designated parking spaces for County Officials - car parking passes will be issued. There will be car park attendants to direct traffic.
