As an ICT professional with over 30 years of management experience I can provide consultancy and\u00a0project management services to help you solve any ICT issue you may have.\u00a0Over the years I have been involved in all aspects of ICT from moving the\u00a0full infrastructure away from the Council when livin (a\u00a0new housing association)\u00a0was formed and moved into new premises, to the implementation of major systems such as council tax, benefits, HR and payroll etc. I became a Prince 2 Registered Practitioner in July 2007 and obtained the\u00a0Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in October 2006. I have also been a member of SOCITM since 1994.<\/p>\n

livin was formed in March 2009 when the housing stock belonging to Sedgefield Borough Council was transferred to the new housing association. I was responsible for all aspects of ICT within the new organisation along with the customer service centre and was part of the senior management team. My responsibilities included the production and implementation of the ICT strategy to ensure that it met corporate objectives and full budgetary control.<\/p>\n

The section achieved the NCC IT Department accreditation in 2012.<\/p>\n

In April 2005 the Head of ICT at Wear Valley retired and in the interests of joint working and efficiency I took on that role in addition to my responsibilities at Sedgefield Borough Council. It was an interesting time working with two different organisations and combining the work of the two separate ICT sections where possible.<\/p>\n

My time at Sedgefield Borough Council saw an enormous amount of change in ICT. When I joined there were only a handful of PC’s within the organisation along with some services provided by Durham\u00a0County Council. By 2009 when the organisation ceased to exist as it was incorporated with the other districts to form the new unitary council, every service was reliant on ICT. Again I was responsible for all aspects of ICT within the organisation implementing many systems over my time there.<\/p>\n
