PUMA Software’s main area of business is the provision of golfing software, in addition we provide ICT consultancy, project management and bespoke development work. The website address is: http://www.pumasoftware.co.uk. PUMA Software is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of its customers and their data.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
In order to run the business we collect the contact details (name, address, telephone number and email address) of customers and potential customers along with what licences they have purchased to enable us to administer their accounts. The database is continually kept up to date, but is tidied at least twice a year to remove potential customers who have not made a purchase. No personal sensitive information is stored.
Contact Form
When visitors use the contact form on the website, we collect the data shown on the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Cookies
Neither the main PUMA Software website nor those developed by PUMA Software use cookies containing personal data.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with any third party.
How long we retain your data
We only retain your data for as long as you are a customer.
What rights you have over your data
At any time you can request to see the personal data will hold about you and ask us to correct any errors. You may also ask that we erase data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Some of the systems developed by PUMA Software are used to hold the personal information of members of golfing organisations in order that they can provide a full service to their members. In some instances this information is held on webspace provided by PUMA Software. We have access to this data for the sole purpose of supporting these systems. It is the responsibility of the golfing organisations using the PUMA systems to ensure that their data is collected fairly and is protected.

The security of your personal information is important to us, however, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is totally secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We design, build and run our systems to make sure that your data is as safe as possible at any stage, both while it’s processed and when it’s stored. We also advise users of our systems how they can ensure the security of their data.
