PUMA Seniors

PUMA LogoThe PUMA Seniors system has been designed to help the committee of County Seniors/Veterans organisations to keep track of their members, the activities they take part in and any “honours” they have been awarded.

Information stored about members includes name, address, telephone number, emergency contact, age, handicap, medical information, notes, CDH ID and a photograph.

The system can be configured so that members can be split into different categories. These are set-up to reflect your requirements e.g. they may be divided into silver, bronze, squad member etc. The system also allows users to define the types of activities (e.g. coaching, competition, match etc.) and honours (e.g. committee member, captain, president etc.). The golf clubs can also be split into separate areas (e.g. north, south).

The search facility within the PUMA Seniors system can be used to extract information from the database based on user defined criteria, thus making it very flexible and easy to get the information required. The results of a search can be used to automatically populate the members to take part in an event/activity.

The system integrates with Microsoft Word (which you will need to purchase separately if you do not have it already) to produce letters either based on membership or activities.

Probably one of the most useful features of the system is to directly email all Seniors who meet certain criteria.

Data from the system is stored in a private cloud thus making it possible for data to be updated by different committee members with the minimum of fuss.

The system comes with a user manual that explains all the features and functionality found within the system.

The system integrates with PUMA Open Competitions making it possible to export all the Seniors who have entered an event and import them into PUMA Open Competitions.

There is an optional on-line services module of the system (available at an additional cost) where users can update their own membership details and apply for entry to events. Information from the on-line system can then be imported back into PUMA Seniors at regular intervals.

Another feature of PUMA Seniors is the facility to ballot users out of oversubscribed events. Those managing the fixtures can run a ballot against all those members that have requested entry to the oversubscribed events. The system will automatically assign players to the maximum number of events that it can whilst ensuring that entries are allocated in as fair a way as possible.
